I have had it since 2007 and I too had to self-diagnose myself. It's definitely a disease you have to monitor closely with your Endocrinologist. (Be aware of the signs of an Addisonian Crisis - these are very scary and can be life threatening.) Hopefully your daughter has good doctors now. I also have Addison’s Disease.
